During the Festival of Light, Ganeshan was approached by an old friend whose research open the path to new Jobs: to be specific, Jobs built upon the powers outworlders once wielded back in their homeworld. Aptly named "Custom Jobs," those new classes will be built by the characters themselves with the help of Curti Center employees. Should you have any question, please ask them here and feel free to use this post to plot! Custom Jobs are built out of the characters's original powers. Characters who didn't have any powers can build a custom Job if they'd like: it can enable them to make use of technology that wouldn't otherwise work on Vaikuntha, give them back their expertise in certain fields if this was lost and make them closer to how they were back home. As examples, we have made two Custom Jobs: the first one is based upon Sephiroth, who regains powers he once had back home. The second one is based upon Solid Snake, who had no powers back home but regains his skills as a soldier and the use of some of his gadgets. Note that if technology is involved, it'll have to be regained or remade to be used in a Custom Job. SEPHIROTH The villain of Final Fantasy VII who has made a specialty of killing beloved characters and ruining childhoods since 1997. This Job is a rather selfish Job, offering no utility to party members and focused solely on offensive and self-defense.
ꜰᴀᴠᴏʀᴇᴅ ᴡᴇᴀᴘᴏɴ: Long swords ꜰᴀᴠᴏʀᴇᴅ ᴀʀᴍᴏʀ: Leather clothes
sᴛʀᴇɴᴛɢʜs: An excellent Job when going for offensive, it offers multiple alternatives and great mobility. ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs: The supreme skill, good as it is, can never kill anyone as it is percentage based. The Job is rather lacking in defense, with Wall being its only mean to protect itself.

sᴛʀᴇɴᴛɢʜs: This Job is great at survival and taking care of itself. It doesn't boast much of anything in the way of offensive skills, but the infinity bandanna ensures the wielder of the Job will never run out of ammo for its basic attacks. ᴡᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs: This Job isn't the best for fighting on the frontlines, it is better suited to sneak through the frontlines. By that i mean, in Emeralda's case she is a shapeshifter. Would the shapeshifting itself be the starting skill, and then her deathblows that use the shapeshifting (and maybe some of her spells) be her various higher level abilities?

Weaker (lower star) creatures are found closer to the mines' entrances, but deeper down, where the richest veins of crystals can be found, the monsters are the more powerful species.

I know Personas aren't the only example but they're probably one of the more egregious right now - the form that each Persona takes is supposed to be unique to the person who summons them, and we're talking more than just cosmetic differences. How would that.. play out? If Futaba were to try to teach someone, would she be teaching someone to use her own exact Persona? Or would there be any way the job's appearance/manifestation/etc would change to match the new user?
