The Disappearance of Azusa Miura: Mini-Event Flash!
As you may have heard, there’s going to be a little disappearing this month. Azusa Miura, Otherworld Idol, has a knack for getting lost, even going places she’s been before. One moment, she’s en route, and the next she’s being dragged away from her destination by the forces of fate. Normally, this isn’t a life-or-death problem, but Vaikuntha is a world of magic and monsters...will Azusa be returned home safely?
This is where you Heroes come in!
Word of Azusa’s Disappearance will be reported to the Curti Center by her Moogle, Wendy, and it will spread. On the 7th, Azusa will get on her slate and ask for a rescue. But as she’s experiencing problems with it, it’ll be more like an SOS call—some indirect clues about her location. Surely, some of you are up to the task of rescuing her?
Here’s how it’s going to look ICly:
July 4th: Azusa heads out to pick up some cake. She doesn’t return.
July 5th: Wendy lets the Curti Center Moogle employees know her Hero may be missing in action.
July 6th: Word has spread to the player’s Moogles, setting off alarm bells (or, you know, not).
July 7th: Azusa makes a network post, hoping for a knight in shining armor to rescue her.
Here’s how it’s going to work OOCly:
July 2nd (today): This OOC post! You will reply with your guesses here.
July 2nd (today): Azusa’s network post! You can reply to this, but all answers will be screened. After the location is revealed, it will be played like a normal network post where you can get CR with her. Responding to this isn’t required!
July 7th, Noon (12:00PM PST): Answers for where you think Azusa is lost are due.
July 7th (later): The answer is revealed, and players who got it right are awarded 25 Exp. Players who didn’t still get 10 Exp!
July 7th and on: Azusa and three randomly selected winners will get to log out the rescue! There may be a fight or a prize, ufufu. Who knows?
Some additional notes:
-Please only put in one answer even if you play more than one character. All your characters will get EXP for this, even though only one will be guessing.
-Please don’t discuss your answers in the group discord! In private is fine.
With your help, Azusa Miura will make it home safely! For a time. Hopefully this won’t happen again...? But as seen in the stars, not even the Astrologian job is enough to keep her grounded...
