— June 2018 — Greetings everyone and welcome to all new players! This monthly information post will detail what event, player plot and regional events will occur this months. There is one player plots this month as well as a light-hearted event! We will have a CR Meme go up once applications are done. Please post any questions you may have regarding all of this here. It's Happening Again (Again!) || June 05th Following the memory event, characters will finally find new people in the Dream Width! The twist, this time new arrivals will be able to play out a memory of their own and have in-game characters snap them out of it. Furthermore, characters who participated in the event will also be present on Airships. The intro log will be posted on June 05th. Mysterious Fathoms Below [100 exp] || Ka'Pandol, June 23rd - June 25th On June 20th, Ganeshan excitedly announces that he has a friend in Ka’Pandol who is arranging an exclusive backstage tour of the new Blitzball Dome before the crowds begin to arrive en masse for the tournament. There will also be a chance to just visit and explore the underwater city… Until, of course, something goes wrong. More details will be made available in the OOC post on June 15th, but let it suffice to say, the city will flood and characters will suffer through enjoy a video game staple, the dreaded Underwater Level. Groups will choose either a combat group or a puzzle solving group, but all must work together to drain the city and maybe even unlock the power that slumbers beneath. The Golsaucian Gauntlet [50 EXP] || Sparks Golsaucia, June 13th - June 20th The outworlders are building up quite a name for themselves, between saving countless Vaikunthan chocobos from grabby predators and diving right back into the Dream Width on a rescue mission. The Triumvirate of the Ancient Oktavian State seems particularly interested, and has gifted a week-long VIP Pass to all outworlders, new or old. Everything the Triumvirate does has a catch, and those passes exist to encourage the outsiders to participate in PuPuLand's Golsaucian Gauntlet, a yearly(ish) game show filled with action, adventure, and embarrassment! While there may be some fine print to the entire situation, there will be prizes galore, with the winner taking home an Enterprise-class airship! Is it worth it? Do you feel lucky? If not, a certain space chef will be embarking on his own expedition into PuPuLand to try and find the creatures of the same name. Phil (Hunk's player) will post an OOC Post later this month! Mognet will function correctly throughout June, with only a few issues listed below: • June 06th || Linkshell Issues Someone will be added to the Linkshell Kali Shashidhwaja along with the new arrivals, going by the name a2lsbGVyb2Z3b3JsZA==. They will not answer to messages and will remain in the Linkshell until someone notifies Mognet of this, upon which they'll say it appears to be a hacker and will have them removed. • June 21st - June 29th || Blitzball Cup A Blitzball theme is temporarily added to all iMog Slates to celebrate the Blitzball Cup. Festival of Popular Delusions || Tark Varentain, June 03rd - June 05th According to an ancient legend, a completely unknown moogle decided to dress in weird red and blue clothes on a day, only to pretend being a hero. Flying left and right, he saved people, stopped villains and prevented tragedies... In his mind anyway, in reality he was just being an annoyance to people. The legend continues and says his delusion was fed by a Hypello who dressed as a bat and pretended to be a hero, much in the same way... If you believe in this story, then clearly you are delusional enough to participate in this festival! Tark Varentain, self-proclaimed an independent nation for the duration of the festival, is filled with unfun games, bad food and annoying people on this day. Please delude yourself in having fun! Great Geezard Races || Myste Aura, June 10th Puppet Masters who have control over Geezards do gather on this day and have their proud monsters race to see who is the fastest of them all. Needless to say, as hyped as these Puppet Masters are, others think watching a turtle race would be far more entertaining. Hamster Awareness Day || Sparks Golsaucia, June 15th Hamsters are a plague upon Vaikuntha, but how many people can claim to know much about them? Hamster survivors are gathered in Sparks Golsaucia on this day to educate their peers regarding the dangers of hamster. Gather around and learn all these is to learn about hamsters and why you should avoid them. Blitzball World Cup || Ka'Pandol, June 27th - July 05th A yearly event, the greatest Blitzball teams from all around the world meet up and play for supremacy over the Crystal Cup. It truly is an event, seeing how spectacular Blitzball is as a sport. Ka'Pandol is filled with people from all places at this time of the year, making it a great place to meet people and have a good time all around. Hopefully nothing will disturb this event... Common Sense Day || Safer Osu, June 23rd It is said long ago, the Prime Minister from Safer Osu returned from a trip around the world. Having witnessed the truly nonsensical and pointless holidays existing all over the world, she cried tears of happiness upon returning to her homeland where common sense reigns supreme. Little did the Prime Minister know, her relief had doomed her nation to celebrate its very own dumb holiday. Indeed, it is customary to celebrate her return by celebrating common sense on this day. • O'aka Quests Starting this month, random quests posted or sponsored by O'aka will be posted upon the Quest Board. These quests will grant reductions on certain items upon completion to be purchased at O'aka's shop. As the report is vague, feel free to use the listed conditions within each regions as necessary for your roleplaying needs.
