— Bahamut Will Destroy Vaikuntha in 5 Months — Greetings everyone! This monthly information post will detail what will happen this month. This month will not have any actual mod events, but instead a plethora of player-driven plots, with the aim of finding a solution to the threat posed to Bahamut. These plots are key to finding a solution and will affect how things will unfold with Bahamut. Please post any questions you may have regarding all of this here. Seeing how there are no moderator event this month, all player plots exceptionally have doubled EXP gains. This means instead of being rewarded 50 EXP for participating in a player plot, characters will get 100 EXP per player plots. Furthermore, there is no cap on maximum EXP this month. Sign-up posts will be sent by the players handling those plots across the month. Let's Explore Mad'ni Shrine || November 03rd - November 07th The Legendary Eidolons are out there somewhere, and what better place to search for clues than some good old-fashioned ruins? Uendo is looking for a group to help him investigate the Mad'ni Shrine, a sacred site said to be built upon the ruins of an ancient, forgotten temple. What sort of secrets could be awaiting the Heroes down there after remaining undiscovered throughout all recorded history? It's Die Hard On A Ship || November 07th - 14th Queen Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca's first job for the infamous Don Corneo seems simple enough; assemble a crew to guard and transport a long-absent delicacy to the Empire. To gain the crime lord's trust, she needs this job to go smoothly. Of course, it doesn't. The Crystal Temple's Secret || November 12th As promised, the leaders of Sen Devadatta have opened Bahamut’s Temple for the Heroes of Light to explore. First to take up their offer was Orcelito, who has filed the appropriate paperwork and is now ready to organize an expedition. As the temple has fallen into ruin, the place is as much cavern as temple, with tunnels winding underground among broken rooms. Should you accept the challenge, gather your spelunking gear and travel north to the empire! Winter Isn't Coming, It's Already Here || November 23rd - 30th With the day of Bahamut's rise creeping ever closer, it's become ever more crucial for the Heroes of Light to find ways to weaken the Lord of Eidolons or stop his summoning altogether. To that end, Frisk has proposed a dangerous expedition to the frozen Uncharted Territories, as according to Kupoto's storybook Hades dwells in the barren north of Vaikuntha and the dark eidolon may have information on how to bring down Bahamut. Frisk is looking for anyone and everyone to join them in this suicide mission long journey, including you! As such, they are no longer part of the Heroes of Light linkshell. • November 05th || Worldwide Filter In honor of Anonymous Day, all Mognet posts will be completely anonymous for the day. • November 20th-23rd || Mognet Strike (Safer Osu) A Mognet Strike will take place, making the use of the iMog Slates to communicate with other characters impossible. • November 24th - 27th || Service Unavailable Due to Black Kiddilion day, Mognet will end up crashing mid-day and will remain down for three days. Plan Your Epitaph Day || Sen Riqeaux, November 02nd Over in Sen Devadatta, it is customary to bury the deceased without writing anything on the tombstones, not even the names. It is, in part, to avoid having people grieve for their loved ones overlong and give in to the sadness. There are a few who disagree however and have taken it upon themselves to start a movement of people preparing their epitaph long before their own demise. Of course, it will never make it onto a tombstone, but those people find it quite relieving and even entertaining. Anonymous Day || Von Oktavia, November 05th Remember, remember, the fifth of November. The scientific community of Von Oktavia see no reason why this day should ever be forgot. Indeed, the scientist honored on Great Scott Day proclaimed it was on this day he had invented Time Travel, even if he could never get the technology to work in Vaikuntha! However, much to the chagrin of the scientific community, this day is remembered for a much different reason by most people. Indeed, it is said an outworlder helped overthrow a be tyrannical government from one of the city-states that would become part of the Triumvirat, hundreds of years ago, by giving people the means to be anonymous and fight back. To honor him, people have taken on wearing a particularly creepy white mask on this day to hide their identity. International Kindness Day || Worldwide, November 14th Do people need a reason to be kind? No, but the harsh truth is that most people need a reminder of it. This is why it is customary for people all around Vaikuntha to celebrate kindness on this day. Not only do they give small gifts to each other, but they also invite each other to dinner. Often time, random strangers may invite you to eat: don't decline the invitation! Black Kiddilion || Kiddilion, November 24th In exactly one month is the Starlight Celebration's Eve. How do the people in Vaikuntha celebrate the holiday dedicated to joy and love? Why, by trampling each other to buy gifts, of course! Exceptional sales are heald in Kiddilion, but only on the 24th.
