Player Plot: Doki Doki Vainkuntha Club (Act 1)
Hey everyone! On July 27th, Monika will open a brand new Literature Club in Vaikuntha. The meeting will occur in an empty local of the Curti Center, decorated for the occasion to look just like your typical High School classroom. People familiar with DDLC may fear there is some horror hiding behind this seemingly innocent plot, but nothing of the sort. ...There will be an Act 2 follow-up plot sometimes in the future for that.
ICly, Monika will have notified the characters about this on Mognet, and they can either sign-up on their own or their Moogle can sign them up. Once signed-up ICly, presence to the Literature Club meeting is mandatory. The Literature Club is advertised as a space where people can meet and get to know each other by focusing on their interest in Literature. It can be books, music lyrics, anything to do with words. It is open to all player characters, Outworlders and Native OCs alike.
The rules for this plot are very simple: your character has to write a poem prior to coming to the meeting. The Poem doesn't have to be meaningful, but it's more fun if you try and hide things relevant about your character in it! Once at the meeting, they'll have to share this poem with multiple people. For each character signing up, I will randomize two mandatory poem-sharing partner, so your character will have to open up to people they may never have talked to otherwise!
Of course, besides your two mandatory partners, you're free to share your poems with other characters as well! Two is the minimum assigned to you, but you may pick to have more assigned partners amongst your CR or people you'd like to tag. Besides the poem sharing, there will be prompts for reading, discussing literature and of course a mingle thread. Refreshments will be provided in the form of Cola and Water, no alcohol for you all I'm afraid.
For participating in this plot, you'll get 25 EXP as well. Please use the sign-up form below, sign-ups are open till the 27th, the day on which the plot will go up. Keep in mind just signing-up isn't enough to get the EXP, you need to actually interact with your poem-sharing partners.
